EXCEPTIONAL CHILD CARE:

The child care program at Patty Cake Academy enhances developmental skills through reading, phonics, music, and language. We understand that children have the ability to learn early in their lives, and we start teaching children developmental skills as early as 6 weeks. 

 

 

PRE-SCHOOL READINESS:

The definition of pre-school readiness states that children are ready for school and families are ready to support their child's learning. At Patty Cake Academy we prepare our children for school by adding core courses such as science, english and math to their developmental skills. Upon completion of our program, children are ready to successfully learn in any classroom environment.

 

 

STRUCTURED AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM:

After school programs are designed to provide students with academic enrichment activities. The after-school program at Patty Cake Academy is no exception to this rule. We provide a structured program that has scheduled activities, including time for a nutritious snack, and homework assistance.  

 

 

NUTRITION PROGRAM:

Patty Cake Academy believes that learning begins with a healthy diet. As a participant of the state of Alabama's Child Nutrition program, we provide our children with a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack. We have a state certified cook on staff at each location to prepare meals that comply with nutrition guidelines.
